Luke and Philippa opened their studio to the public and collaborated on this Installation.
Dust sheets were used to form a structure within the centre of the room. The shiny delicate nature of the fabric allowed for the projection onto the surface.
The film projected onto the structure created faint shapes and colour. The 16mm celluloid film was produced by placing the clear film and ink into a black bin bag and placed into a spin cycle in the washing machine. Allowing the machine to become the printmaker allowed for the control to be in the hands of the machine.
The result is faint splashes and optical sounds.
The immersive installation allowed for the room to be filled with reflective light and optical sounds
